Born in Vancouver of British parents (his Father is a Doctor) the middle of three boys all over 6' 5" tall. He grew up in Squamish, BC near Whistler, playing all sports competitively. He ski raced and snowboarded and appeared in ski and Board videos. Performed a variety of theatre roles in school and local Productions, particularly Improv. Awarded a Football Scholarship to Gannon University, Pennsylvania. After breaking his leg in a football Game two years into his liberal arts degree, he returned to Vancouver. He continued with his acting studies and appeared in commercials. In 2001, Bryan Singer selected him for the part of Colossus in X2 (2003). He has had television roles including Stargate, and continues to look for acting roles for big men! In his spare time he works hard in the gym and rides his motorbike.
